Engineer Elected to Board of Directors of the National Academy of
Forensic Engineers
E. Ross Curtis, P.E. Elected Secretary

Martinsburg, WV - E. Ross Curtis, P.E., a local civil engineer,
was elected to the board of directors of the National Academy of
Forensic Engineers (NAFE) at the July 2003 meeting of the Academy.
Mr. Curtis has been affiliated with NAFE since 1989, received certification
as a Diplomate Forensic Engineer in 1998, and became a Senior Member
of the Academy in 2001.
Ross’ engineering
practice focuses on forensic engineering in support of litigation
and insurance claims. He is an active member of the Martinsburg
Rotary, the Martinsburg/Berkeley County Chamber of Commerce, the
United Way of Berkeley/Morgan Counties and the Eastern Panhandle
Branch of the American Society of Civil Engineers in which he achieved
distinction by being elected to Fellow status by his colleagues.
He also serves on the Legislative and Government Affairs Committee
of the National Society of Professional Engineers. In his ‘spare’
time, Ross runs the Lodestar Llamas Farm outside of Hedgesville
with his wife Pam and sings with the Shepherd College Masterworks
Chorale.
The NAFE is
a professional organization formed in 1982 to advance the art and
skill of engineers who serve as engineering consultants to members
of the legal profession and as expert witnesses in courts of law,
arbitration proceedings and administrative adjudication proceedings.
